10:00am - First Tee Time at Boulder Creek (18 holes)

9:00am - Breakfast at Chalet / Tod Estate
11:10am - First Tee Time at Kennsington (18 holes)
6:00pm - Dinner at Chalet / Tod Estate (Steak)
Friday, June 30th
9:00am - Breakfast at Chalet / Tod Estate
11:36am - First Tee Time at Reserve Run (18 holes)
FORMAT
MATCH PLAY:
The 36 players have been divided into four-man teams for an overall total of nine teams. The competition will be over 54 holes, with each four-man team rotating partners each day to compete in best ball matches against other random teams.
SCORING:
All matches are 18 holes, Better Ball of partners match play with handicaps. Each three-hole set is worth one point, ties are ½ point. The total available points for each match is 6. So the total points per team per day would be 12 since each team will have two matches being played per day.
HOLE MATCH PLAY SETS:
1-3 / 4-6 / 7-9 / 10-12 / 13-15 / 16-18 (each three-hole set is worth one point)
HANDICAPS:
Players have been assigned handicaps based on a % of their established or estimated handicap. Players will be assigned strokes based off the lowest handicap player in each match.
TEES:
All players will play same tees at each course.
TEE TIMES:

If ONE player on a team is not on tee box by start of his match at the posted time, his partner must proceed without him playing the better ball alone against the opponents. The absent player may join his partner on upcoming tee box when they get there.

If BOTH players on a team are not ready to start their match at the posted time, the opponents win each hole that is uncontested.
RAIN:
If we are unable to play all 54 holes at any point the winners will be determined by the final scores of all holes that have been played by each foursome.

RULES OF PLAY
All players must play the ball down at all times with the exception of players can move the ball in the fairway.
Out of Bounds – Marked by white stakes. Players can rehit from same spot with penalty stroke or take two strokes and drop in the fairway near location ball entered out of bounds.
Hazards – Players can play out of red stake or yellow hazards. Or players can drop one club length near point of entry with one stroke penalty.
Lost Ball – Player can use same option as out of bounds
Fairway Drop – Players can drop any spot in the fairway near point of entry for penalty
Summer Rules – Play the ball down everywhere except can move ball anywhere in fairways
Tee box – Will be determined by the team point winner not by gross/net score on each hole
Pace of Play – Players must card a score higher than lowest score if picking up on a hole

PAYOUTS
MATCH PLAY:
Teams will receive $50 per match won for each day. If teams split the match each team will receive $25.
​
OVERALL TRIP CHAMPIONS:
Each team will be trying to win as many points as an overall team to become the 2023 Trip Champions. The team that has the most points after the three days will be declared the overall trip winners. The below payouts will be awarded to the top three teams based on total points after all three days of competition. First tiebreaker will be determined by which four person team scored the most points on any given day. If the teams are still tied we will do a head-to-head scorecard playoff based on hardest handicap holes to determine the overall winners.
1st = $600 ($150 per player)
2nd = $400 ($100 per player)
3rd = $200 ($50 per player)
PINS:
Each day one par 3 will be selected as the "Pot of Gold" hole. If your first shot ends up on the green sign your name on the proximity marker and you will split the pot for that hole with everyone else that hits that specific green. FRINGE IS NOT THE GREEN!

Each day will consist of a $450 GROSS team skins game. Each team listed below will take the total combined score per hole for both players to try and win a team skin.
